Twin Lakes, Wisc. (July 22, 2013) – Country Thunder ended with the rumble of 30,000+ people as Jake Owen and Hunter Hayes brought the four-day long festival to a close. Additionally, the main stage, presented by Toyota – Let’s Go Places, was energized with performances by Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Lee Brice, Dustin Lynch, and more. “This was the best festival crowd of my entire Summer tour.” – Dustin Lynch “I am so thankful for all the fans, and everyone who came together to make Country Thunder such a fantastic event this year,” said Executive Producer Troy Vollhoffer. “We are looking forward to next year, renewals are already underway and we’ll be announcing some of that lineup soon! We can’t wait to come back with more amazing country music and good times with friends.” “This is definitely the biggest festival we play all year. It’s a blast! It is the ultimate festival vibe, everybody is here camping out and that’s what it’s all about. It’s fun for everybody, not just us, but the fans too.” – Hunter Hayes This year’s festival featured more on-site entertainment than ever before as patrons were invited to get behind the wheel of a Toyota Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Sequoia or FJ Cruiser at the Toyota Drive Center off-road course, which featured exciting new obstacles and challenges as well as mechanical bull riding and the human slingshot, and an array of food and specialty item vendors. In addition, DJ DU kept the late night Electric Thunder circus tent hopping with dance music while The Roys Pickin’ Porch was introduced as a new attraction for bluegrass music lovers. “This is my second Country Thunder ever, just as big of a party this time and may be bigger than last time. I am loving it! There is nobody more passionate than country music fans. I will play Country Thunder anytime I am invited.” – Brett Eldredge “Country Thunder was absolutely amazing this year. It is so much fun to interact with the fans that watch GAC and those that listen to me on SiriusXM,” says Storme Warren. “This event has become more about a lifestyle than just who the headliner is, and that makes for a big party!” “The crowd here is great. This is one of the best festivals we could ever play, and that is around the world. We play several country festivals from Australia to Europe and this one and maybe one other are by far my favorites. The fans are just out of control and I love out of control.” – Joe Nichols Ticket and camping renewals are currently available for Country Thunder 2014. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, July 23 at 2pm CT. For all things Country Thunder, visit www.countrythunder.com or call (866) 802-6418.
