Vol. 16 – Sweet Little Shoe
—– Because of the timing of his career and the launch of CDX, Dan Seals’ hitmaking days had pretty much ended just prior the release of CDX 1. The singer had just left his longtime home of Capitol / EMI, where he had enjoyed so many hits, and moved to Warner Brothers.
It wasn’t a successful move for the singer, as none of the singles released from his two Warner Brothers albums dented the top-40. But, that doesn’t mean that his music from that era should be ignored. Here’s his first single for his new label, a rollicking number titled “Sweet Little Shoe.”
